Scotts Flat Lake Rules and Regulations

  1. Fires are permitted only in park established concrete pits, bar-b-ques and your personal portable bar-b-que grill. Open fires in designated areas only. Rock fire rings are prohibited. Do not leave fire unattended, build additional fire rings or hang lanterns in trees.
  2. Vehicle travel and parking permitted only on established black top roadways and parking areas. speed limit not to exceed 5 miles per hour.
  3. Pets are to be leashed and attended at all times and are not allowed in the water.
  4. Day use and picnicking permitted only in the day use area and not in campsites.
  5. Riding of motorcycles, mini-bikes, mopeds or any other motorized vehicle is not permitted within the park or campground.
  6. All boaters and boats must comply with state and county navigational laws. Boats must be launched at the launching ramp only. Personal watercraft are prohibited. Swimming is allowed in the designated swim areas only.
  7. State law prohibits the use of live minnows in the lake.
  8. Entering the facility with or discharging any type of firearm is prohibited.
  9. Persons reported or caught cutting or damaging trees, shrubs, downed wood, site posts, or park facilities will be cited.
  10. Quiet hours are from 10:00 pm to 8:00 am. This includes RV generators.
  11. Parents are responsible for their children at all times.
  12. Campers wishing to stay longer than their reserved time must make arrangements at the gate prior to 12:00 pm.
  13. Departing campers are to vacate their campsite by the designated checkout time.(Checkout no later than 1:00 pm)
  14. All gate passes to be turned in upon final departure.
  15. All guests must comply with all federal, state and local laws.

The above rules and regulations have been designed for your comfort and safety. Observing these rules will assist greatly toward making your stay and that of your fellow campers more enjoyable.
